Hi, my daughter will be a senior next year and is interested in auditioning for the two-year program while attending the Summer Intensive. I was wondering what the timeline is for admissions decisions. How soon after her audition would she typically be notified if she has been accepted into the program? Thank you!

Hi Allison-
Yes, rising seniors do have the opportunity to audition for our full time program while they are with us this summer. Usually, admissions decisions are released the week after Summer Intensive ends, so she should know fairly quickly!
thank you so much! What does she need to bring with her to audition, besides herself :) Does she need letters of rec, headshot, resume, etc? Thank you!
Details for this coming in an email this week, but she'll need headshot/resume and she should prepare two 32 bar cuts of songs she loves to sing. We will have a sense of her as a dancer from her time in class with us this summer, so at this time there are no plans for an additional dance call for Summer Intensive auditionees. Letters of rec are optional for Summer Intensive students applying for the full time program. She's welcome to email them to admissions@iamt-nyc.com to augment her application but they are not required. Hope this helps!
